Fiberglass Belly Tanks, Who Makes Them ?

Who makes fibergl*** belly tanks? I have heard a company on the west coast is/will make a 14' fibergl*** tank?

I have one of the first 'gl*** tanks made by Jack Kelly in CA. The 'gl*** tanks listed on the hot rod superstore website are made in MD. The JK originals had nut inserts to bolt the halves together and were very well done. I don't think JK is doing them any longer. Hope this helps, and no my tank is not for sale.

 

Elmo Rodge makes em. He's a HAMBer and does a great job. The tank in the link above actually came from the tooling,(Jack Kelly Made the tooling)

I think Worm makes them, and he's a HAMBer.

 

So this would be the one of the dozen they molded from the Scotty's tanker? supposedley the molds were sold and went to NC and then MD after that?

not the p-38 like elmo-rodge's is

My buddy Chris has a mold also...he used to work putting together kit planes and came accross the mold.
