More Nostalgia Drags

NHRA just announced a 2008 seven race nostalgia series on the West Coast. See link for details.

Nice gesture but they'll screw that up too. Just look how much "fun" it is to try to run at any NHRA race. Just give me a safe track and cars and stay the hell out of it.

 

Boo Hoo dbradley. Any time the words Nitro, Funny cars, and dragsters are used together at a facility anywhere near me (and sometimes not near me), I will be there showing my support. I'd much rather have an imperfect series than no series at all...........................but that's just me.

 

I read in the past that Steve Gibbs was part of putting this together from the start. With him involved I'd bet this series will have a shot of working out pretty well.
Looking forward to find out more info on the cl***es.

 

Unfortunately it looks like Famoso is loosing a race in November,and gain one in May. It will be interresting to see how they run the event at the very least you know the drivers will be as SAFE as possible.
