Wheels and tires are 15x5 6.70 all the way around. Heres the box installed in the car. Still need to bolt it down to the frame but it looks to be solid.

I'm dumb... What's a "Last Refuge" body? An do you worry about flex in the split bones with the spring mounted like that? I know the shackles are supposed to move with the spring flex but is there a chance it could twist. Your shackle mount makes a great lever. Just a thought with all this talk about split bones and all. Referring to your rear mounts is that plate steel? Were you going to reinforce them with a side gusset to the axle? I would think they could flex sideways? I'm not trying to be a dick I am just curious for my future builds. Thanks, I do really like the look of your car.:D

The split bones are pretty stiff. Don't think they can twist or flex much. Havnt driven it yet though, so you may be right. I'll let you know. And if you look at the rear spring mounts close you'll see that they do have a gusset for support. Look at the first pics I posted. You can see them clear there. And yes, its plate steel.

What did you use to attach the split wishbone to the frame.
Looks like some kind of plate. I want (2) of them.

Its a standard wishbone mount cut in half and welded to the frame. Would be easy to make one though too.

Did you get any more money for the brake lines? Ebay has a complete roll with the fitting for like $25 plus shipping.

I still wanna see how you do the lines?

  26. Wedgeii1, I'm following your build...any progress pics or info on your project, just curious ! :D What wheelbase is this one ? Thanks and keep up the good work, (now I'm off to the garage).

WEDGEii1, you can take those cups out from under the headlights.
The "ball" on the headlight will fit snug in the "cup" of the stand.
They will hold there aim better too !

i see what you mean vaphead. qaulity appears to be ok, except a few things but the big issue is customer service and getting product out in a timely manner.
