What did you do at the upper rear of the door to match the curve of the top. Some more "simple blacksmithing"? Do you have a side view with the doors in?

The more I study the pics, the more in awe I become. Stunning work.

Mr.HotrodA,you got me there.First I made the top of the body finished, then I formed one door top after the new shape of the roof.THEN I found two ORIGINAL 3-w door tops .I used them,of course and made them fit my door opening,.That door tops without frames are the only parts from a real coupe.

Yep, more "simple blacksmithing"! Finding 3W door tops is a miracle in itself.

How much is the top chopped?

The top is 3 " chopped...cirka.Yes its the same RR fender.I do have 4 Cadillac hubcaps and still no PC.I only use tools I made myself, including the english wheel. The lower wheels in the E-wheel are from Hoosier. My favorite is the louver-press.Started on a 3-W coupe ,1932,lots of chop and louvers, blown flathead.Building it from a cheap english tudor.worked on it for one week now.someone asked for pics of my other rides,so here they are....the red roadster is sold to a buddy of mine.

Jeaulous greetings from Finland. I never knew there's more than 24 hours in a day in Norway, there just has to be. My hat is off, thanks for sharing these very inspiring photos.

Fantastic craftsmanship. Absolutely inspiring in so many ways. Great vision realy comes to mind here. I love Norway. Oslo is such a beautiful town. I get to teach in Skien annually. I will be there in the spring. You must be the pimp dog of Norway in that beauty.

Amazing work!!!! I love the extended trunk area. I also like the wood floor in your shop. Amazing work on the fenders, so many others would have tossed them.

Blacksmithing must pay well in Norway. Please post more pics of this beautiful car when you can, it is much appreciated.

Your '36 has evolved from a car to a piece of rolling art. I've been thinking about converting a '36 5 window into a 3 window, having taken a bunch of pictures to work from but I havn't built up the nerve to start cutting. You are an inspiration.

This would have been a perfect project to incorporate a truck load of "change for the sake of change" but that didn't happen. IMHO, it's the best '36 3wd in ages. Damn, what a car.

TRJ, as a suscriber, I'd like to see a feature on this car. Built at home from s****s by someone without an ego that no one has ever heard of. Yeah, I want to hear this guy's story & see more of this car. PLEASE hop a plane & shoot it.

One of the nicest 36's I've ever seen.

And considering what you started with, definitely the most impressive.

    Wow. Kudos to you bro.

As an Industrial Designer I must say your eye for surface development is awesome and is obviously matched by your magnificent craftsmanship. Simply a superb, stunning 4 wheeled sculpture of timeless beauty!
