Identifiy this hood ornament please?

Bought this last night from a sale barn. Been searching the last 2 hours to identifiy it. Have found nothing on the net like it. The old's are close but no cigar.

migt be an olds, i have an olds ornament on my wall. Looks like somethin' GM but i'm not sure. good luck.

 

I got one just like it, I always thought it was Olds though.

 

for some reason I think I remember seeing that as an optional hood ornament for a chevy truck.. around 53-54

 

Did some scrathing on the bottom side, found these numbers 66355
Do these mean anything?

 

Looks like an Olds to me. I'd say mid to late '50s. Remember all of the "rocket" names?

Here is a 1955 model. '54 and '56 are different.

 

54 or 55 olds for sure
