Well we have all these threads about building frames, specs as in length width type of metal, etc, etc.

How about what is everyone builing them on? How some pics and specs of frame jigs, or welding tables? When I buit mine, I drew it out first on the concrete floor in my gargage, and laid it out. as I welded I cross braced everything to hole it in place. This is NOT the best way to do this as it can still flex and move from heat.

Wishin' I had a large jig at the time. So what's everyone else using for a jig, or table?

  2. There was a frame jig post a couple days back.

I want to see the jigs that you would use in your home garage. Most of these are nice but they are really big for the home builder.

If your budget falls just shy of Indy car surplus:D try this. I got the old conference room table from my work. Its something like 2" thick with a steel support rib all around the bottom. I just c-clamped stringers of 1X1 steel to the table then tacked my frame to them at ride height. It was strong enought to hold the frame and mock up the 9" truck rearend as well. However I wasn't going to push my luck with the engine up there as well.
