What a great day, great weather, great cars and great friends... This year I didn't bring the Cadi but I brought my Camera and just cruised around and shot some photos. nice pix, other than the blown radiator, that edsel is neat. that's gotta ****, you get to the show, and then spend all day figuring out how you are going to get home...

Yea. I really wanted to show off my flames. Tired of taking my sons car to shows. Trying to keep my merc on the road,but there's always something.

haha, that was me and my buddy max. It was running kinda hot i the morning but not that bad. It was hitting about 210 at idle at the stop lights etc. Once we got on the freeway, it went back down a little and we were already commited to taking it so we figured "screw it" were gonna get there even if we have to tow it!
but while waiting to check in it started to get really hot. Luckily it wasn't a big deal at all, we just took out the thermostat and it ran like a champ the whole way home. Marky of the shifters rules, and Thanks to the ACES club for the gasket sealer.

 

next year - it is already on my calender! - I was wondering - how long do the drags usually last - are there really a lot of cars that show up to actually take part?
