Has anyone recently purchased a dropped axle and front axle steering and brake kit from Speedway? I'm looking for a dropped axle front end and brakes for my Model A project. Speedway's pricing looks very good. Just wondering about the quality or any other issues others may have encountered? The parts included in the kit are:
    4" Dropped Axle
    11" Rotors
    Pads
    37-41 Ford Spindles
    Dust Caps
    Spindle Nuts
    AN3 Caliper Fittings
    Kingpins
    Flat Steering Arms
    Tie Rod ***embly
    Hardware

    Axle-$220
    Steering & Brake Kit-$600

Do you have part numbers? I am a Speedway dealer and have ordered front end kits for customers.. Curious what you are looking at.. Jason.

Got one for a straight axle set up a friend had done and the parts were great. We did go with the Wilwood brakes but I think the speedway brakes would be just as good.

I have bought a lot of stuff from Speedway and they have yet to disappoint. The tech guys are A-1, too.

Speedway makes a lot of their own parts.. I have used several of their front end parts with no problems...Plan ahead and order early though... This time of year there are a lot of builds going on...Parts can be B/O for a while sometimes... Jason.

    Bear -

    Here's the part numbers:
    702-2850
913-3902-traditional steering, 4.5 bolt pattern, plain

I arbitrarily picked the 48" king pin center to center would 46" be better?

All of my frontend parts were purchased from Speedway except the 37-41 Spindles and caliper brackets which I bartered for but am sure they also came from Speedway. Good quality parts VERY helpful staff.

I am a dealer for Speedway too.
You must be very carefull of what parts you order from them.

    Price is not everything boys.
Do you see the steering arms in the kit 913-3902 ?
I wouldn't use those on my lawn mower.
And a tie rod with hiem ends? yuck.
Why do you think they call tie rod ends "tie rod ends"?
(because they go on the end of a tie rod)

And if the back order is on a Magnum axle,I wouldn't hold my breath.

    Happy happy joy joy :)
