Just thought Id pass along some cool pics of a 55 Chevy in my shop. Enjoy with your morning coffee! a BEFORE PIC
the before pic looks like it drove out of 1985... and the guy wanted traditional 'hot rod' flames on the car.
I also like the before look, but its the jeckyl / hyde thing, I also dig the flames bunches. One car, two different attitudes completely
That a nice looking car, I really like the flames. BTW do you have a guy by the name of Shaun Cote working for you?
Shaun was with us almost 2 years ago . He lived pretty far from our new location (like 50 miles) and didnt want the commute, I think he moved back to Cali with the girlfriend- not sure. Nice kid.
Did you guys make those mini tubs? I hate yellow. ERspecially when it is on a 150 with no trim. Major improvement!
Yep- made the tubs-metal fab is the thing for us . Funny, my wife hates yellow too- she hates yellow so bad she wanted to talk the guy out of having yellow in the flames... wow Hey Kenny? Are we brotheres????!!!
yellow looks good on a 150 with no trim, but a bit odd on a 210 that's missing the side trim (like this one)
Lenny, nice job on this 55.I know this car first hand and I am very impressed with your work. Its a whooole different car now.Nice to see it back with stock wheelwells (stock tubbed that is!)
I had a 55 210 2 dr sedan like that back in the mid-seventies, old lady green with a white top. I painted it the same color yellow as the before pic. I swapped it for a Model A coupe. The guy I swapped it with sold it to a guy who made it into a pickup. That was a rust-free Oklahoma car, too. What a waste.
Looks great Lenny, although it should have been orange, By the way I sold my 55 after all these years Carlg
thanks Carl- so now you'll need to update your user name to- Orange Crush- not so much! LOL I love the new car .
Looks like you guys do great work, but I'm a first picture guy. All it needed was a straight axle and a bad ass small block. Gary
Yeah and the thing wouldnt have made it through another season round here with rust and damage underneath that paint... LOL
Yep, I understand that, it's the same round here. They can't seem to dump enough salt on the roads. You guys do a nice job of laying out flames. Very tasty. Gary
We have had 18 inches of snow dumped here in the past week- last year we only had 17 inches total so the winter will definitely uck this year... Thanks for likin' the licks.... I aim to please..
