Hello all i am new to the board, and somewhat new to the scene. I am a youngster too, at a ripe age of 20 years. I bought a 1949 Chevy Sport Coupe Deluxe... Many folks have told me that i "stole" the car form the kid i bought it from...the more i look at these cars, yeah i stole it from him. Rat Rod. That is it, any thing you want to say to me hit it up i should respond.
Welcome, I like the flat black and red rims even though most here have a thing against them. Nice car, do you drive it like you stole it??

I have all sorts of plans...we all do. Wide Whites, Bigger engine 235-261 anyone have one? Twice pipes, flame throwers...this winter fix the rust on the rear end of the car. Soon convert to 12 volt, just keep driving it like i stole it...No chopping on this baby. They look wicked chopped, but i like the bubbly top look. Anyone else from the NW?
OH YEAH forgot to say paint it with some single stage black, with a crap load of flattner in it, that there paint job is about 15 cans of utlra flat rattle can...same with the roof, but its all good.
Welcome to the madness. I think I seen your car at Dick's drive-in on 45th about 2 months ago. You were with Chopper, and a few others.
I say go the opposite direction.....that Chevy should put in some time as a straight-axle gasser-meister. live a little, kid.
From another Spokanite, welcome to the HAMB. Did I see your car in the parking lot at the Street Tin swap meet on Bloomsday weekend?
No that wasn't me either. I had to work Bloomsgay Sat. and Sunday...there went a good weekend for tweakin on the car. Isn't there another Street Tin coming up??
They're having their shakedown cruise this weekend I think. It's basically just a cruise to a show in Ritzville. I'll be thrashing on a car, so won't be making that run. Where in Spokane do you live?
I'm from Colbert, my parents still live there and that's where I do most of my automotive work. I went to Mead High School. My wife and I just bought a house right behind the soccer field at Roger's high school. My wife works at Sacajawea on the south hill.
hey there-welcome from another spokanite and friend of wayfarer-if you want any info bout street tin-let me know-my family are long time members
