    Probably his granddad, Rick and Rodgers dad raced modifieds in the Kansas area before moving to Bakersfield.

    Anybody remember a show on TV in the late 50's called "Jalopy Derby"? It was broadcast on Saturday nights in the Philly area. I watched it on a small black & white set. I believe it originated in California. I also remember my Uncle taking me to the Hatfield and Sanatoga Pa tracks back then also. Seems like I've been obsessed with this stuff ever since. Anyway, great post, and thanks for the pics.
     
  24. I don't have any jalopy scans but If you like jalopy pics then I highly recommend this book. It has hundreds of awesome jalopy pics, most are 32-34's.
