I Painted the caddy last weekend , sanded it down and recleared it today here is a sneak peak at what it looks like. trying hard to get it done for starbirds jan 16. I think we are going to make it. looking ggod so far, I love the color.

That looks TITS! How deep is that chop? Did you do it? Got pics? I have a '56 and it looks like a chop on it would be a bitch! Anybody got info on choppin' a caddy?

YES I chopped it, 3.5 inches it was a hard chop, due to all the glass and stainless, the paint is house of kolor wild cherry with some perks and a little extra flake of corse. all the chrome has been replated, and buick wires from wheelkid. what a killer job they did me and the price was great as well. and yes fatlucky's interior. more pics to come. just thrashing to get it done for starbirds show.

That paint job and the color is awesome! Wild Cherry! Reminds me of a cool glass of wild cherry Kool-Aide on a hot summer day when I was a kid. What color is the interior going to be? I'm picturing white vinyl pleats on the seats and dark burgundy carpets. That's going to be a super cool car. Can't wait to see the whole thing. Congrats!
This car gets better all the time. I think the color choice is great also. You have a great vision and I'm really looking forward to seeing it finished as well. I'm anxious to see it in person. You will have it at the Round Up, right?
