Hey TONY!!!!!!!!!! What is the bolt pattern measurment on the those international rims? i would love to get ahold of a set of those for my '60 f-100, if they are a 5 1/2
He's running a pass car 9" under it with the standard 5 on 4 1/2 bp.. Maybe there were some truck's back then that had the larger bp though..might be worth asking around. Unfortunately i have no idea. Sorry. Tony
Here's a reference, but I'm pretty sure only the Scout used the 5 on 5 1/2". Pretty sure earlier trucks were different. http://www.stagewest4x4.com/store2/store/pops/bolt-pattern.htm
I like the proportions. Lee Osborne's a good fellow to base your chassis off of. I'm a sucker for low high-boys.
1960's International 1/2 ton trucks and Tall's and of course Scouts had a 5x5.5" bolt pattern, everything earlier was 5x4.5" other then the 3/4 ton and largers. Those 20' wheels are super rare, i have been looking for a set for my 37 D-2 for a few years now and everytime some come up i miss out.
The front axle is a stock 42-47 Ford with 47-48 dogleg split wishbones and a torsion bar lever arm hookup on the split bones hooked to torsion bars mounted inside the frame rails as usual. Simple and slick.
Those are the coolest hoops I've seen on a A cpe. to date.....great look. Your right........leave the lid alone...... Paco
Holy smokes...I cant believe someone brought this post back from dead....It makes me realize how much i got done on it over the last year 1/2 cause it still looks the same....lololol
yep, it was marks, but he sold it to Swick, and suprisingly it ended up out in Indy, what are the chances? haha yeah sorry for bringin this topic back up from the dead again... haha.
