it was shot for classic trucks a few years ago in sheet metal, then it was painted yellow and white. It recently got so mody damage so we had it back in the shop so we added the bumpers (cut down and smoothed 60 bel air bumeper in the front and a almost complety hand made rear) and sent it to RT auto body for a classic coat of Black over some smooth body work.

i think the work on this truck was amazing, but im not so fond of the wheel openings being squared off like that. it just seems off on the truck. but none the less, awesome truck. how much was it chopped?

It's slick but for some reason I'm not liking it very much. It is one nice truck though.

the article said it was chopped 3 1/2
I could never figure out the yellow paint job. sweeping curved lines didn't work with this square truck. the black looks awesome!

sorry dont really like it, grille looks too low or the hood looks too high when you look at the proportions of the front of the truck and the wheels in the arches just look... erm... wrong.

The bumpers improved the design of the truck. Nice job.

Nice. I didn't really like the yellow either. Not really a fan of chops on those trucks but it looks awesome now.

what can I say, cant please em all, not even some of the time ;). Funny though, the hood is pinched alot and the grill is in the stock spot. The grill area is one of the only original pieces of sheet metal on the truck.
I wasn't working for Bob during the original build but the story goes:
The body and paint shop wanted more money to body work the truck and its less then desirable metal work then the truck was worth. Chris asked bob what he could do for the same amount of cash... he laughed and told him he could re-skin the entire truck.
Last Drop Zone show in Oregon, chris caught the rear roll pan on a man hole cover, the body was braced and plated so well (for railin) that it buckled the entire bed, so back to the lab. the rest as they say "is history"

i dont really dig the rims, but the rest of the truck is beutiful, brings a tear to my eye to see old steel on the street instead of the crusher

  27. It takes balls to take a mag quality custom and redo it. I loved it in bare metal. Now I'm lovin' it all over again. The black really accentuates the rear tail work. We'll see ya in the mags again. Congrats!

  28. I've been following this truck since it started, I loved it up until I seen it with the yellow paint. I just didn't like the paint scheme, and colors. But now in black, with the new bumpers-fuck yeah! The truck looks amazing, you guys do incredible work.

Not digging the wheels and the back of the truck. Other than that it's cool.
