OK folks, it seems some s***bags have affected the life of one of our drag racing legends, Don Hampton!...If you have any information, PLEASE give Don a call at the number listed. And "Yes" there is a reward but the important thing is to get don his car and trailer back!.......Please help!...................

Probably went from the shop to a container and is out of the country. A lot of "high end" cars end up overseas............ Problem is our crack government does NOTHING to these aholes........ slap on the wrist and they're out doin' it again.

 

pictures, ch***is spec , and motor specs (anything) might help us know what we are looking out for!!!

 

its all on the left side of the screen on the link attached... bad thing about kansas is we have that NHRA thingy, and there are trailers all over the place that look just like that one... sorry about the guys luck.. i wish i could help him... really bad.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The life of a thief has no value! If only "law enforcement" and the "justice system" still had a pair, we could at least hope to see the SOBs strung up.

Dam Don that ****s..hey dude you forgot to let us know what the plate number on that trailer is..not that it matters now its probably changed or not even in that trailer..Keeping an eye up here in the Ohio Michigan area. on the road alot so i'll keep my eyes pealed!

 

My Eyes are peeled too, I am in central Ohio. I just bought a black trailer myself, so if I see them or it, they might just get some of that fast acting lead poisoning

 

I live in chattanooga if i see it i will hold them here. I will have strung up in the barn by the feet and will have the cattle prod waiting for u.

Be careful with that. Some guy just wacked a couple of theives in Texas. Now he's in hot water! That's not right..

 

That's a real shame - I feel sorry for Don. When I hear about **** like this, it makes me wonder why the owners of these mega-buck cars didn't install a Lojak or some other kinda GPS-based theft-recovery system.

Looking at some of the high-end vehicles that've been stolen over the past few years, like the cream & caramel-colored cover-car roadster (can't remember its name) a year or so ago, I'm sure their replacement/construction cost must be in the 1/4-million-dollar range (give or take). I don't know what a Lojak system costs (along with the monthly subscriber fee) - but whatever it is, I'll bet it's small potatoes compared to losing one of these really really expensive rods!

I emailed the message out to all my husbands family in LA area....HUGE car nostalgia peeps...and very familiar with Hampton. I hope his trailer and car are recovered unharmed. I just had my Interstate trailer rigged up with some extra protection...

I've known Don since I was a kid. My buddy Craig Wise is pretty close with him. Didn't hear about this. I'll have to give Craig a call and find out what's up! ****IN THEIVS!!!

 

I feel sorry for him as well..Hope he had insurance....
