There is a new magazine out in the Midwest, actually based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana called Hometown Hotrod Magazine. In the third issue (Dec/Jan) is a great feature on KustomLinconlady's Merc. Congradulations Deb!!! Any chance in talking you guys into bringing your car down for the 500 WoW / 1962 Motorama display? It will be Feb 8,9,and 10th.
I got my issue in staurdays mail. Now all I have to do is get Rob and Deb to autograph it for me! P.S. another great issue too!
Hi John, Thanks!!!! He did an awsome article on the Lincoln. I told him were going to have to start hauling him around to shows to anwser questions!! But, YOUR article was awsome also!!!! great coverage on El Tiki!!!! Congrats to you and Susie also!!! John is doing a fantastic job on this magazine, I can't say enough about it. He sure is giving it his heart and soul, and he's got plenty of both!!!! I would love to be able to do that show, but it isn't likely to happen, we don't even own a trailer and Indiana in Feb isn't pretty Thanks Hippie6, Yours could be next!!!!
Thanks so much everyone. No its not sold out yet, it should be on the stands this week, sometime I think. John Nolan is going to email me when it hits the stands here so I can get my extra copies This is a part of the mail he sent me, hope it helps who ever is looking for it. Its a great mag and you will NOT be disappointed From John "Here's the latest count... Issue 3 is in the following stores: 105 Borders, 145 Barnes and Noble, 129 Waldenbooks. Issue 4, we keep those outlets, plus pick up 150 Books A Million stores." Good Luck!!!
I was able to find issue 2 at my local Border here in Michigan. Pretty cool magazine - has a hint of gearhead ( which is a good thing ) to it. Looks like plenty of Midwest coverage in it. I would recommend checking it out
MercDeuceMan is too modest to mention it but his El Tiki is also featured in this same issue. Congrats to Deb & Rob John & Suzie BB
Congratulations Debb! I'll have to find that issue. I loooove your Lincoln. I have only seen the 1st issue
Debb- Congrats to you and Eye Candy. You both should be proud, it is a gorgeous car! Hope to see you soon!
Hey Deb, Nice sharing pages with you guys in Hometown Hotrod. John (Punk) is doing a nice job. I think the previous issues also had hambers featured in them too. You and Rob have a Merry Christmas. Thanks Bob...happy holidays to you and Maggie.
Hi Fuzzy!! we owe it to you for telling John about us Thanks!! Thanks Sue, you John and VonDust have a Merry Christmas also!! I mentioned to rob about putting the car in the show, he said I guess we could, but without a trailer I just can't imagine!! Megan thanks!! Im not telling Rob what you called him it goes to his head, LOL Thank you also Joe, how is Elizabeth feeling, everything going good?
[QUOTE=I mentioned to rob about putting the car in the show, he said I guess we could, but without a trailer I just can't imagine!! Deb, We can't promise what the weather will be like at move-out, but for move-in, we have somke latatude with the weather. We are not like the WoW side with a strict Thursday move-in only. We have Wed, Thursday and a Friday morning if necessary to get around some bad weather. We have some cool things planned for the show again this year. Participants in the 1962 Motorama will receive mementos only those who bring their cars to will receive. For a 15.00 entry fee, two p***es for the weekend and free parking, it's a deal hard to beat. We are working on having an indoor wash bay for those who do drive and wish to wash their cars. Call Tom @ 317-244-8271
Gee John, Thats a good deal...do you guys have a deal on a hotel rate also? what would be the dead line for us to make a decision by? were seriously thinking about this. show dates must be fri, sat and sun? what time does it get over on sunday? I suppose if we did get it there and it got bad we could prob keep it at toms for a few days possibly? let me know those things and the deadline, and I'll call tom if we think were going to. Thanks
Congrats Deb, and to Rob for building such a beautiful car. Two of the nicest people I have meet in this hobby, and Deb is number one on the list of Cl***y Ladies I have had the pleasure to meet. See you guys in Detroit.
