i picked up a tree while i was in town today, problem was i was driving a geo metro and we had no bungie cords, so we threw it in the back hatch and duct taped it shut.

Today I go my tree home, but it cost me an head gasket plus both my kids fell asleep in the backseat so it will probably be an wake night.

But the tree was the best good locking Christmas tree ever!

The little one was 2. We all set in the front. No seatbelts. Heater was on and we were excited to go pick out the tree. Car had a 350 with a 65 Rochester FI. Seems like a million years ago.

finally talked my wife into a REAL x-mas tree this year, went out to warm up the ole rig and find another flat. so the old ford truck didn't make the trip, had to call in the cavalry and brought it home with pop's new ford truck.
TWO FLATS IN ONE WEEK!! DAMN ROOFERS

it's nice to see they come with instructions as to what the colors are. I would never have guessed otherwise.

Bob, that would make a great Xmas card. You should send one to the gal that helped you in Malibu. :p

I got home a little early one day last week so Flower and I motored out to the "cut yer own" tree farm to get a nice one. We figured it would be alot more fun in her flatty milk truck than her daily big ol Avalanche......and my sedan isn't a good candidate for carrying a good sized tree. This picture is off the camera phone...of course the high-zoot 10mp digital SLR was left at home, not much better than Bad Bob's card-less camera. Anyhow, we stopped for lunch in Moorpark and snapped a photo. Boy, ya sure get some weird looks doing stuff like this in the hot rod but it's alot of fun!! Merry Christmas all!!!!

(Moorpark= "Gateway to wine country" according to the Kitchen Nightmare producers.......where'd they get that idea??)

Here's one I used for a Christmas card a few years back as I was putting my '32 back together.
