I know this has been covered many times. I promised myself I'd start using Photobucket the next time I post pics. I have been using the re-size/single image upload method, and it seems too time and bandwidth consuming. I've been signed up with P'Bucket for several years, but never used it to share photos. Yes, i've gone through their tutorials, and searched all the posts on the H.A.M.B for help, but am still doing something wrong. The closest I got was the attachment of the first picture from my album. I hate to admit it, but I screwed around yesterday for at least four hours trying to insert the URL from PB to attach pics to the H.A.M.B. My wife keeps saying to give up, but I've invested all this time, and this method has to be better. Any suggestions will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!! Thanks....................Woody
Under the small pics in Photobucket there are a few choices...... 1: Copy the one marked "Direct Link" 2: Click on this on your message reply screen and paste the "Direct Link" info into the pop up box. 3: Click OK and the image should appear in your post. BTW when the pop up box appears erase the text in the box before you paste the "Direct Link" info or it wont work.
I do not do it the way Muttley does. See the 4 choices you have under each of your photos in PB? Copy the last one "IMG tag" ....you do know how to "copy" right? Then type out the words in your post AND then hit enter so you come down a space in your text all nice and neat THEN right click your mouse and "paste" that "IMG tag" Hit enter again, once or twice to bring your cursor down and either type more words or copy and paste another photo. You can add 20 images (which include smiles) into each post. The one thing you want to make sure is that you have your "Image options" set at message board size or they will post too big and make everything in the tread sku'd. If this does not help feel free to call me on the phone and I will try to walk you through it verbally. Anytime after Sunday at noon. I'm heading to the PileUp after work tomorrow. 734-673-6930 Good Luck, once you get the hang of it your going to be kicking yourself in the **** cuz it's so easy.
Denise, Thanks a lot for the help. I've been trying several ways for the past few days, and keep learning more all the time. I knew there had to be a simpler way to post the larger size pics. Drive safely and have fun at the pileup. Did you get your car back from the upholstery shop? ..................Woody
I believe your copying and pasting the wrong line Copy the last line under of the photo that says "Image Tag" then paste it in your thread
Brownsmetal, your last photo is alittle large. Follow this step once and your photos will always post the perfect size. Make sure your "Max Image Size" opition in PhotoBucket reads 640 x 480. This option is located on your main page, almost in the center, where you have your "browse" ****ons and those little blue tabs. Look for the one that says "Mobile Phone", it's right under there. Click on the word "Opitions" and make sure the circle in front of "message board" is the one checked. Your photos will aways view perfectly on your screen. Not too big, not to small.

Help, I need help. Is there a different procedure for posting pics with a Mac? As you can see, two failed attempts on the Mac, but success with the PC. Thanx tc
