Help on 1946 Dodge Truck

    My 1946 dodge has a 3.8L 230ci inline six. I was wondering if you could up the cubic inch without boreing it out and if you can put a 4 barel carb on it and where to get parts?

    I would go with pull it and put a 440 in your truck! I know that offenhouser made 2 carb intakes (1bbl's I think) and many people split the exhaust manifolds and throw on a set of smithys. Other than finding the Chrysler engine (they were the most powerful flat six's) I don't think you can do much else to these. I do know that they have oiling issues on the bottom end if it has not been gone over
