I have some Hot Rod mags from 1961 - pretty sure there is a small ad in the back of one for fibre '27 T roadster bodies.

We bought a gl*** 27 T body in 1961. I believe it was a Kellinon, thin made for racing.

AI fibergl*** or Anderson Industries made them. I want to say Cal Custom or Cal automotive had one too, but don't quote me on the name. I think it was Cal something. Of course later Wescot and Gibbon mad them.

I took mine home in a 74 Datsun P/U. When I looked in the rear view mirror it was standing straight up on it's firewall. We tied the front down but the solid deck lid acted like an air foil lifting it up on it's nose. Back then you had to do all the wood reinforcing yourself and cut your own doors and deck lid. I just could not get into that and sold it as I bought it...a shell.

    Hey cruiserbuddy,

Just went thru my briefcase with all the stuff I collected during our trip to the States in 66 and I've got a Dragmaster leaflet which is a single sheet 4 page leaflet with a B&W pic on the front of a 23 bucket with a pickup bed then inside it has an exploded view of a 23 roadster. I've also got 3 separate pages with an exploded view of all the fibergl*** components from "Fibergl***Production" Affiliate Division of Dragmaster with prices on the back. Another page lists 18 kit combinations with prices of the Dragmaster kits then the last page also has a price sheet with F.O.B. Carlsbad prices and the "Kit Story" telling you all about the kits.

Loved this bit from the "Kit Story", in the Wheels and Tires section.
"Rader" wheels are used as original equipment as are the "Casler" "original" cheater slicks, or you may choose from the hundreds of wheels and tires available.

I can't post pics on here-too dumb!- but I could scan and email it to you if you are interested. BTW on the front page of the leaflet there is a typewritten note stapled on saying 10% price increase in all prices effective 1-1-66 Dragmaster Company so that dates the leaflet if that's what you're after.

Here's a few scans from early 60s HRMs. Not too much for 27s as, I believe, they were catering more to the fad T bucket craze of the period.

  18. Anderson Industries, catalog is from the 70's but I would guess they first made that body available in the 60's.

Here's one I ordered in the mid 60s when I thought a bucket T would make a great first car. I settled for an A coupe.
