If i was going to replace the 3.8L 230ci inline six in my 1946 Dodge Truck what would you suggest to put in place ?
what ever fits the best. this is not a easy vehicle to change engines in because of the small space and the fact that the engine sits on top of the axle.
Any kind of HEMI sounds like a great idea. Can't come up with a hemi, how about a B (350,361 383) or RB (383,413,426,440) with a pair of four barrels on a set of polished 30" rams. If your feeling bucks up, you could aways go for a 3G 392 (6.1) HEMI out of a SRT8 something or other and outfit it with traditional looking finned aluminum rocker covers and individual stack injection.
