To give you an idea how low the truck is, Bill is not 6'5" he is about 5'7"
The truck doesn't drag the frame until he has a p***enger.
I told him don't commit a sin and raise it just drive solo......

    Happy Trails,

considering how high the motor is in the second pic....my guess is that it has been channeled. .....or if you read the truck mags...body dropped.

ahh, it's fine. my buddy did exactly the same thing with his '77 suburban. didn't drag unless we were both in it, but hey, those a-arms were way too thick anyhow [IMG]

It's too low. I'd be afraid to get it over 30 mph, but maybe your roads are better than ours. Around here it would be undriveable. I guess it would be ok for a fairgrounds only cruiser.

How did he lower it I just relized that had twin I beam front suspension. Droped Ibeams or did he subframe it? Just curious one of my friends has one of those trucks and he wants to lower it but the Ibeams are really expensive.

You can never go too low [IMG] Although that would be a pain to drive...

I like it. Although I would like it on "bags" better. Bags are "old school" Firestone debuted them back in 1933. [IMG]

    Mick,
I knew there was something strange about Bill the first time I met him!,,,,can't say too much about being TOO low,,,he just needs to get a couple more lowering blocks in the rear springs....that would be low.

I think I'm gonna put mine on a s10 ch***is like So-What does. Bigger rear end though cause of the weight and I'll probably put a mild motor in it. Thinkin of sectioning the roof above the drip rails but yours and another I've seen look fine w/out it so I don't know. Wife go's back to work in a year and I can buy something new so I'm tryin to talk her into getting the loan to let me ground-up build the panel instead. Wish me luck.
