So my buddy at C&G called ME in need of help for a change. He has a customer in the Vegas area that an older woman with a '48 Ford. She's got a brake problem in the front, no access to the internet or a digital camera, and can't convey to Joe what the exact parts she has are. SOOOOO, I need to know a reputable (HAMBer owned would be ever cooler) shop in the Vegas area that could work with her and Joe at C&G to get the problem resolved. Anybody?
try emailing rfurcoat@vintagedynamic.com he opened a shop there about a year ago,his name is rikki and is a good freind ,he works on everything from triumph bobbers to kustom sleds and cl***ics, tell him ben from sacramento sent you
i dunno what hot rod shop are here in town as i do all my own work with the help of the local ROAD DEVILS. i have a 51 ford so i know where to get some parts locally. pm me and ill give you my number maybe i can help.
Rikki rules!! Great guys over there!! Dirthawker can get ya' setup too. Also, you may try Dan's Driveline. Brickster and Andrew (the Brudwich) are there and may be able to help as well. Here's the info for Dan's: http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&r...027025&sa=X&oi=local_result&resnum=1&ct=image
Viva La HAMB! I just spoke to Rikki and he's glad to help. So I gave Joe at C&G his info, and they're going to see if they can help her out. Joe I pretty convince she's getting the run-around at some shop there in Vegas. It'll be cool to have this elderly lady helped by a HAMBer endorsed business.
That's great! I'll probably see Rikki this weekend actually. I'll stop by his shop if I can to see how things are working out. Also, if anyone is looking for early HD or British bike stuff, he and his partner there at the shop are doing some great work and they're very knowledgeable. Just out of curiosity, do you know what shop was giving her the run-around?? Always good to know...
Not yet. But I'm sure if Rikki finds out, he could tell you (since you'll see him soon) and you could post it. If not, someone will find out if that is the case.
