Buy a new 40 ford grill or build it from scratch?

I have seen a lot of custom grills fabricated by hand, and they are so cool, but I am sure they take lots of time to build. Why not just buy one off the shelf?

I agree, but! And that is a big but!
I can buy a standard grill off the shelf for around $650.00! If I build it, I may spend around $2000.00 on R & D and tooling and it may take a month to produce! but...custom is so...cool!

 

I like a stocker,pretty pricey 4 a repop.from avatar picture you could go either way
