Its actually looks like its sponsored by O'reilly auto parts, so the flyers should be available there, i work for an independant store but get our parts through O'reilly's, ill see if there are postors available yet.

Dont worry about the GNRS... theres nothing you can do about it landing on the same weekend... I have a lot of friends that are headed to it this year. I wish I could do both.

 

Damm Tuck I will be in Mexico that weekend you should move it hahaha come on you have some pull way up there. good luck with the show!!! I will jump in line and say I will be there next year....

i dont see me getting the Edsel back to gether in time, engine still at the machine shop, and the T just isnt gonna make it.

 

Attending that will be my birthday present to myself.

Where is Rivercentre ?

 

It's part of the complex that includes the Excel Energy Center (where the Wild play), Roy Wilkins (lots of bands play there) and then the actual Rivercentre convention hall. It's in downtown St. Paul, MN.

Good luck with it Tuck. We already have a Feb trip planned for up there, I will see if there is even a remote chance to make it. If not, see you in June.

 

there are a few cars around here in pieces that should be back together in a month for the show- I know Tijuana J is bringing his 'eyeball' inspired sedan...

if anyone has cars in the works and are planning on making the show email me- i want info for a possible story for the paper- aiite?

haha ok ok... I'm not gonna define it... but I hope you know what I'm getting at.

I don't want to start any drama... but I'm taking my gloves off...

-the World of Wheels has been pretty lame the last few years. I stopped going in 1999 I think...

The people in charge of it don't think this is gonna fly... the EXTREME part of the show that is...

but they're in for a big surprise.

I don't know if its because its new... if its because they're are a lot of younger kids involved... or what... BUT. I don't think its a young kid thing, I think its much bigger than that.

I want to make sure we get everyone involved.

I was thinking back to when I first joined the Hamb when I was in college and didn't know JACK ****. Who were the guys I leaned on? They were all older experienced Hot Rodders... Take Rocky for example... I used to email him random questions out of the blue all the time regarding how to do this... how to do that...

Who the hell did we learn this stuff from? Yeah... the generations before us.

I dunno... I'm not trying to be sappy... I'm just trying to be REAL. I want everyone involved that we can get involved... Its about us getting out and having fun and meeting people.

Last year they opened up that cl*** at GSTA (gopher state timing ***.) in April. I had the time of my life... I had my 34 there right next to ***us with his DEUCE, and took home best display... won some cash... had a vending booth there... sold some shirts... hung out with friends.

It ruled. One of the coolest things about the show was meeting people from right here in Minnesota.

So I hope we recreate that vibe here with the Extreme.
