last week i dropped my front seats for my wildcat off at the upholstery shop. today i went to drop off the rear seat and some trim parts and i got to see the progress on my front seats. they should be complete tomorrow, but here are some teaser pics for now. and a pic of the buick too.....i'm blown away at how awesome this looks already. i couldnt be happier! (unless my seats were done NOW!) guess i'd better get off this computer and get that carpet installed tonight eh??!! :)

EDIT: car will be daytona blue pearl with white, maybe pearl white roof when finished. not sure if i'm going to reshoot the scallops or not...

Not sure if i'd redo the scallops or not either. You could always keep it in base coat for a few days and see if you're pulled one way or the other. Like the seats. Whats the damage there (price wise)?

  3. Looks cool. Diamond tuck!

Reminds me of those song lyrics:

"Diamonds in the back, sunroof top, diggin' the scene with the gangster lean whoo whoo whoo..." By Curtis Mayfield I think.

it was a little under a grand for the front and rear seats, and door panels. i thought it was reasonable because both front seat frames had to be rebuilt. i literally was sitting on grandmas pillow shoved into the seat frame!

haha! Yea, thats a decent price for all that work. Gonna go back and get a headliner redone? I was quoted 300 for each bench seat and 250 for a headliner. I'm doing my door panels myself... and it shows haha.

my headliner is in great shape, so i'm going to keep it like it is. it looks like it was replaced in the last year. i had originally intended to do my own door panels....and it showed  i was just going to to plain white vinyl, but after seeing the diamond tuck, i need to have inserts and it will look 100% better.

Can never have too many custom buicks. I'll have to post my 56 after I get the doors back on. Your stance looks sweet!

Cool, IMO I think it would look good with a bullet center or even a spinner.
