girls first engine build.

    what a night! built with my 3 girls and was able to teach them how a 4 cycle engine works.priceless!!!

    I got one at KB Toys in the mall a few years back. When I went back to exchange it, they were out (the timing belt was broken).

    Dear God they are adorable. I'd feel sorry for you in another 8-10 years, but my jealousy for that toy has overcome any sympathy.:D

    My Grandpa had some of those kind of engines when I was a kid. He would always break them out when I came by and I had hours of fun learning and playing with them. Ahhh, the good ole days!

    When you fire it up, use water and Alka Seltzer, doesn't smoke mutch, runs like hell, and get's rid of your headache!

    Next year, move them up to the V-8 version. Either one is way cool. Come to think of it, isn't there a Hemi see through V-8 as well?

    I've seen pics of a Visible Flathead that Lindberg is going to come out with in 2008. Not sure if it is 1/4 or 1/3 scale. That would be the one to get.

    My son and I built one of those this summer. Pretty good model, you can even advance the timing. Hopefully that flathead will be available when my daughter's old enough to build hers.
