63 falcon lowered

my dad finished up my car for me for christmas. he lowered it. BUT he is a muscle car guy and its kinda raked. so this is what it looks like now but im hoping to get the rear lowered a little more to level it out. i'll put better pics up tomorrow when its light out.

 

i dont like the rake, why should i leave it?

yeah put it to the ground. i would lose the hubcaps too but thats just me. nice lookin car though!!

it looks pretty good. I'd loose the rake, but that's just me. Falcons make a cool noise when they bottom out.

yeah thats what im saying. i need to lose the rake. but my dad was nice enough to buy all the gear and do te work, so ill drive it round for a while then drop the back. it was lowered 2 inches. i think. hah and i like my hubcaps it looks too rat rodish without them. any suggestions for caps?

 

my favorite caps are the 47 ford dog dish ones with the square lettering on them, i've never seen them on a car that new though

 

i kinda like those caps... if it's a six, then spiders are out, if not, i'd go that route. I had a set of chrome 13"s on my ranchero, I really liked that look. Those cragar 4 spokes are rad too.

yeah if it was 5 lug i would already have spidercaps haha. but it is not but that looks good to me. im working on it. hahaha

 

yes its almost there just need to be lower in the rear, and thats a simple fix.

 

Looks good..i want to find a little hardtop pre-63, myself, Il lace the roof, when i get one to. KEEP the caps you have..unless you get other versions of dog dish =)

 

im for sure keepin my caps. and i wanted to lace my roof too, but idk if i am or not. either that or just flake the **** out of the roof.

i talked to my dad we went through jamco andhe bought the kit to lower it 2 inches all the way around and thats how it turned out. but i bought two inch blocks a while back. ill just stick those in there.

 

keep your eyes peeled, they did make 4 lug spiders for falcons. i've come across a few pairs (all after i no longer owned a 4 lug falcon or ranchero ). keep an eye out at car swaps and even ebay, they are out their and usually not too expensive, i think the last pair i found was a set of 3 (sill in original wrapping) for $80.

My daughters Falcon has 4~Lug Spiders & the rare Cal Custom Mini~Trim rings on her '62 Falcon.

They are out there.... Ya just need to look

 

Don't lose all the rake, lose like 2/3 of it. Car would sit perfect.
