??? - Posies Narrowed Model A Rear Spring

Does anyone here know the recommended rear spring perch center of eye to center of eye measurement for this spring?

I'm using a 46-48 Ford rear axle with the stock spring perches. They measure 46.75" to 47". I want to run a high arch Model A style spring (to clear my QC). The Model A axle measures 49.5" eye-to-eye. So the stock Model a spring is too wide for my application. I'm hoping the Posies spring will work.

I'd call Posies. But tis the Season ya know.

 

i've use a couple....46" centers on the spring hangers was recogmended

 

Thanks! Hopefully the can be stretched an extra inch. Or I may fabricate some slightly longer shackles.

 

I dunno 'bout all that...

But i have an "A" spring on a '40 axle & several of my friends have stock "A" springs on Late Banjos with no problem.

They been hangin "A" springs on late rears for years.
