This pile sits in the field of my girlfriend's mother's house. The former owner hasn't towed it away yet, swears he is going to restore it  It's a more door, beat to hell and not much left, good luck to him. It makes a nice photo though.

the pictures are kind of big, but these are all from a junkyard in emily, MN, there had to be a few hundred cars there with most of them complete

God! Those pics are great. They all look to be "preserved" very well. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to just pick one out and take it home?

Here's one of many buried in an old dried up river bed in Buckeye, Arizona.
From what I gather these were in a junkyard near the river when a flood occured and washed them down stream. None of the cars have running gear and they are beat to***** from the crushing forces of mother nature, but it sure was neat to see 'em there.

WHOAH!!! Whats the deal with those Mercs?? That would make me roll to Minn. with my trailer!

The 50 2 dr looked to have been an OD trans car, but Im sure all that stuff is gone or junk. The 4 dr has a nice 51 wheel on it too....man what a find!

yeah that 50 2 dr did not have a trans or the flathead, but the 4 dr did have both and there was a 51 4dr that also had both, most of the cars there had the complete running gear also

I saw this one day when their gate blew open about 15 years ago. Of course, he was about to start fixing it up.
Finally this year he decided that at age 86 he might not be getting around to it very soon, and sold it to me.

the owner actually gave us a couple business cards, heres the info if you would like to e-mail him or give him a call to see what he wants for it or anything else he has. phone number, (218)763-2501, e-mail: dwsales@emily.net, and the adress is 38560 South Highway 6, P.O. Box 175, Emily, MN 56447. and im sure the owner would rather see these cars saved and built rather than rotting.

If I can work out a deal on it just get it running, paint the wheels red, throw in a couple of Mexican blankets and drive it like I stole it.
