Man thats pretty sweet. Right now I am working on taking an old bumpercar frame and turning it into a gas car thing. Good luck with that and hope it turns out good!

I'm sure you never built it for this reason but I would think this would be an impressive piece to have as an example of the work your shop can do. Anyone questioning if you can build something for them just has to open their eyes.

wow! I amazed at the good responce from everyone, thankyou all very much.

To answer a few questions:

The rear wheels are from a racing quad bike and the the tyres, sorry tires are from a lawn mower for cutting the grass on golf greens.

The front wheels will prob be replaced when I find something suitable, but if I can't find the right wheels I'll just change the tyres.

The steering box is made like a sprint car style, I got a worm and drive and made the housing to suit. It's got a 6:1 ratio and goes through to the left side to a pitman arm, just like the real thing I suppose. The only thing not quite right is it's mounted to high and therefore will have a bit of bump steer, but the motor is in the way so couldn't get it down any more.

The front end is set up with the correct ackerman and has 7 deg of caster and 4 deg of camber, or is it the other way round, I can never remember which is which, safe to say they lean back 7 deg and in 4 deg.

The body is made from 8 main parts with a couple of small in fills. It'll have some swage lines where a topolino would normally have them and will have coloured plastic windows. All the windows will be fully set in and will have rolled edges where they should and so on. Also it'll have full firewall except for where her feet go through and the pannels above the side windows will be fully boxed.

Got a couple of other plans for it including a small electric motor for reverse and some wheelie bars that can be moved down to take the load of the rear tyres so when she gives it some gas the rear wheels will spin.

And for the big kids amongst you, I'm 5'8" and 200 lb of wobbly bits and I've made it so I can just fit in and drive it. Well, dads still gotta have fun too.

Holy Shit, that is amazing! Your work is as clean as it comes. If I can build my actual car with half the amount craftsmanship I will be happy. This sort of make me want to have kids soon..... well in a couple years perhaps. Very nice.
