    MAC MILLER!!! WOW!!!

Thats the kind of stuff I was raised around! I was at Bob Mconnell's place two weeks ago looking at a few cars for measurements and what not. You know all about what I had to go through to make that mold!!

My dad and I just got word that the Whinchester old timers meet is back on thius year.. Sept 29th!! My dad is so excited now cause he will get to make laps!

Thanks again everyone for your comments.

Damn Shaw that thing is nice. I can't stop looking at it. The belly pan is also one of my favorite parts, love the details.

I'm fairly bitter that I don't have one.

awesome car! love sprinters. I did notice a couple things that I have had problems with in my midgets in the past. I noticed you had a tubular chromoly bolt in a single shear bolting your drag link to your steering hoop. I have had about a 75% failure rate of these bolts in a single shear. If you value anyone's life who get's in this thing, change that bolt quickly. The second I noticed was at the other end of the drag link. Your pitman arm appears to be a torsion arm (heim threaded into the end of the arm). That too should be changed to a standard drilled/threaded through the side, pitman arm. right now all of your steering forces are being held against the jam nut on that heim joint threaded into the torsion arm. if it comes loose, at best you end up with over 2" of slop in your steering. At worst, when you turn it binds up the heim joint and locks it in position, or breaks.

other than those quick and easy little things, it looks great!

  21. WOW!! A seven week build. Incredible. Beautiful :cool:.

For an encore, how 'bout a V8-60 midget????? But give yourself about a year or two breather before ya' start. You must be worn out!!

Son, don't let your Dad fool you, him and I have been divorced since shortly after your switch at birth. Since I spent all those hours giving birth to you, you should bring that car north to your loving Mother so I can think of my long lost son every time I'm whipping it around.:D

Seriously, your Dad's a GREAT guy and certainly deserves it.....especially after raising you.:D Looking forward to seeing it in person this summer.

Good to hear from all my long lost parents... I'll be sure to collect on all those different inheratances!!! Ha Ha!

Dad is so excited! He keeps talking about all the cool things he is gonna get to do in it, and places to drive it. The neatest thing is that my ol' man WILL DRIVE it!! He'll drive it to lunch, to bid jobs, to cruise ins, but the best is...
Every Friday and Saturday night he will drive it to the sprint car races!! Thats pretty neat... Can't be many people claim that one.

The car is tore down again, for paint and some finalizing... A two month build means you make shit right later.. I might even put the right zerk fittings in it!!!:D

    Thanks
