Put my 52 Dodge on the road this year. Added Edmunds intake, a pair of 94's, disk brakes, 6v alt. Threw on a visor and lowered it a little since this pic was taken.

  3. If you are going to sell it as just the rolling body, I might even be able to afford it!

I have a pretty nasty 440 here that I am putting together for my dart that would fit real nice nice in it, and an old set of slot mags that would bolt right on! I think I even have a couple of 727's that would bolt right in!

I did get this one done and on the road. Tried to take it to the HAMB drags but the rad plugged and put and end to that.

Got it driveable just before the snow flew. Still managed to get in a few blasts down the backroads even with no windshields. Spring can't come soon enough!!:D

My 58 Chevy Panel's very first drive was directly to this year's LSRU after a feverish bash to get her roadworthy. Since then I have been slowly continuously improving as I am really enjoying this truck!
I hauls two (preferably)british bikes, coolers and camping gear for a lot of folks comfortably. Once unloaded she can fit a full size air mattress and we are ready to camp. Been to 3 motorcycle rallys this year in her as well as P-n-P#6. Looking forward to many other trips.
She was lowered 11 inches, IFS, 350/700R4, Posi 3:42 rear, completely rewired, dual exhaust, radial tires...the works. A BIG Thanks to Lux over at Crushproof for all the help with this!!!
Next is the body, but that requires a bit more recovery to my own...:D

It got taken off the road for an "altitude" readjustment:

I'm hoping next by next summer she will be road worthy.

got this in may, my dad and i rebuilt the engine, got it running, registered, and on the road (borderline illegal, no lights, had to use hand signals) in early october. now it's sitting again because there is no time anymore to finish up the wiring, but after that is done there are a couple cosmetic things to do then it will be driven mostly by me for the summer of 08, then in winter of 08 i'll start doing more customizations, like filling the gas door and relocating the filler neck, shave emblems off the trunk, lower it, WWW's and i'm undecided if it will run caps, or no caps, but it will get steelies.

The Ranchero in the pic was running 11:60's in 1989. 427 no squeeze.
That,s the reason I had to redo everything for the street

I got my coupe first running in early January but not rolling under it's own power until late August. The weather here has been fairly tolerable and I even got to drive it on Christmas AND today!
