k-member, your trucks sits perfectly, can you details whats been done to it ?
Obviously it's had a chop and is wearing a 48/49 hood, but has it been channeled or frame Z'd ?
The running boards appear to slope down from the back to front was that something done by moving the bed up or just mounting the boards higher on the rear fenders ?
    Cool truck.

Wow, just check the date of this thread... a bit old, but then so are these trucks :)

    B-knuckles..

Any mods or is it all stock ? Very nice truck, I liked the fat rear tires you had back in 92. Are you going to get wide whites for the front too ?

I guess you'd call mine "stock appearing", still flat-8, stock drivetrain but all the reliability mods (MSD, alternator, etc). Want to get some highway gears in it, one way or another...

That COE looks cool, I'd love to do that and use a late F-350 Turdbo Deisel.

Albuq, the stock appearing makes a nice change, I wish I had a stock one to look at from time to time just to measure stuff. This might sound stupid but I've never actually seen a stock one, since I am Australian and only 35 ALL the 48-52's I've seen were hotrods...

It's an oldie, but a goodie (05). Details, MII by TCI under the front and I C'ed the rear part of the frame and put the rear axle on top of the springs. Running boards are in the stock location. Put on the correct front end (51) and added the 2 extra teeth of course and punched 88 louvers in the hood. 4" chop and used the 48-50 bed because I like the bedside reviels and used 49 Merc tail lights. Power comes from a real worn out 66 HiPo 289/C4. Here's some more recent picks, the black one is my fathers (OldBeets) and his is chopped 4.5" and shorted 12" and is running a 390 police interceptor/C6 with factory tri power and has been just like that for the last 35 years or so.

I think one might be a 46. It has a bus front end sitting on it.
