this a a dual purpos post here. one to show the pics of my new 261 i got sunday and how its comming along. and two to give prober thanks to the HAMB and to Ryan. i told fast elvis a couple days ago that i wont be able to make it to billet proof on june 6th with the 50. due to no money to finish my rebuild on mu locked up 235. (oil pressure is a good thing) so he ended up finding me a 60 pontiac 261 for the chevy. best part it was free. he even went out of his way to go and pick it up for me and meet me more then half way for me to pick it up. i just wanted to say thanks to him and to his buddy mel quick for donating the motor to me so i can make it to billet proof and allso thanks to his buddy that drove it to sarnia in his pick up (sorry im bad with names) none of this would have happend if it werent for the hamb! i love this place ive meet alote of great people and have had alote of fun shooting the shit and wrenching on cars with em. well enough of the sappy shit heres the pics. long live the hamb! last one. i got the motor set in the car at sundown. right around 9:30 or so. would ill get it all mounted in right tommrow and get her fired up. ill post some pics with it all done and in the car tommrow i guess. ughhhh long days suck!

How are you going to run the linkage for the intake...??? a buddy of mine has a 261 on a 55 chevy and he is having problems with the linkage...got any pics, or a description? tok
