January 20th Indy HAMB Meat and Greet

The third annual Indy Meat (mmm....meat) and Greet is Sunday, January 20th at my house at high noon. My wife doesn't want me to post the address on the internet because she watches too many movies on the sci-fi channel but PM me if ya need it. I'm on the east side of Indy right at Mt. Comfort Rd and US40. I'm guessing that folks from the west side will meet at Bubba's garage and caravan over. Folks from everywhere else will converge in other ways. If you've never been or seen grown men naked, I'll ***ure you that it's a good time. It's a chance to get your cars out in January (you can drive something new if you HAVE to) and to eat and shoot the ****. Plus, I built a *****in slot car set from the 1940's today and should have it running this afternoon. Might be some racin.... The Tiki bar is open...

I've got burgers and dogs and soda's and you can bring anything else. We've had some tasty treats in the past...pear salsa, moon pies, Kb's stew, BEER, layered nacho dip...

And if you need help going to the bathroom later, Larry the Eyebrow will be providing bathroom musical accompaniment. GRRRRRRRR!!!!! Ask Tracy how well it works...

The high noon should be the same for both of us now. I think we are on the same time now. Twelve o' clock. We'll go till we get bored. I don't think there is roller derby that night but if there is, we'll go there too.

 

i will join in at bubbas for the caravan. i am totally unfamiliar with the eastside. i know how to get to marion c. fairgrounds and thats about it.

 

Oh boy,,,a reason to make a batch of pear salsa...this time with "Bubba's" sauce...

 

Kieth, make it to my place and you can ride with me.

 

The bus will leave Bubbas at 11:00 heading for the Scoobs. Anyone wanting to cruise out with us meet us at the shop. Its 30G Gasoline Alley. PM for directions...We will furnish the woodford and moon pies and a 55 lb sack of treats for Larry the eyebrow.
If you guys aint seen this damn dog , its worth the ride over.
Maybe we can do burnouts in Scoobs new bugster by then ????

The fellas and I were talking about you. Im not sure you can come over. I've got two cops in the neighborhood and a grade school within 1000 yards. I don't know all of the details about your probation but I'll hazard a guess....

There is not a roller derby game that night though. I'm sad. I bet G***edbaker knows some chicks that will strap on some skates and beat each other senseless though if we all pool our twenties...

how far is the shop from the freelance lettering building? that and earls are about the only shops i know in gasoline alley.

 

Bubbas is right behind freelance lettering in the short building. Short bus parallels are purely conicidental.

Scoob, Tell Larry I am sorry but I dont think I will make it this year. I most likely will have to be here at work both Saturday and Sunday. If not here I will be at home getting my car finished. I also will have to be on call so to speak this weekend for inspection of some parts here at work.

Enjoy and make sure not to warn any newbies about Larry, I think he enjoys it!

 

Scoob, thanks for the invite (last fall), but I'm gonna have to miss this year's shindig, gonna be out of town chasing tail. Woulda been cool to finally meet so many HAMBrs, but a man's gotta have priorities.
