I sorta miss some of the bike threads that use to show up here so I thought I would post this up here as well for some of you I know.
I got up early this morning and left to do some running around and left mom and my girl to sleep in.When she got up Girlie girl was freaked out that I had forgot our new years day ride.My phone rings and she is like dad what about our ride did you forget?I told her no be ready I am on my way home now.Well at 20 degrees she still didnt want to stop.We have done this every year since she was 2 and now she is 10.I think there has only been one year that we couldnt do it new years day and that was because of a foot of snow.

So HAPPY NEW YEARS FROM THE SHOE's

She wont let go that she finally has out grown her first bike. This spring we are going gas powered and on her own.

Cool!(No pun intended).I usually go out with a local MC club on New Years Day.This year,I decided to drive my roadster over to where they meet.It was 32 degrees .Another friend showed up with his son.I told his kid to hop in and play in my car.I then took him out for a quick spin around the block with the obligatory burn out.Well at 5 he had a nice new year's experience.

We only went up and down Our road today as cold as it was and not very fast at that.Plus she has grown so much its time for a new lid this spring. There is usually a side car on this bike and she always has a helmet on anytime we are riding.

Thanks guys for the comments its a great day when your kid takes a intrest in something you like and wants to spend time doing it with you.Heck she even put a reminder on my wife's cell phone calander to take ride with dad on new years day.....:p
