Got a 4' X 120' roll of insulation from Mike aka Lobucrod on the HAMB and i must say this stuff is freaking awesome and so easy to work with, especially on uneven surfaces. Cutting is a breeze with house scissors. I only have the truck do so far but i'm impressed and would recommend this product to anyone. Plus i saved $$$ for being an alliance member.

so far i have only used about ten feet of it on the trunk and figure it will take another 60 feet to do the floor, 4 door panels, fire wall and 2 kick panels. I'm also planning to line under the hood and headliner.
Hell i actually used some of it to stop a rattle on the back side of my back bumper by zip tying a piece around it. Kind of a southern rigging but it was quick and will work until i can fix it correctly.

I got a couple of rolls from Mike to do Big Olds and had it dropped shipped to the South Austin Speed Shop for installation while they were doing my FatLuckys interior. I gotta say I was kinda bummed out when I realized how GREAT it worked and I wouldn't have any heat on the chilly, damp drive from Austin to Nashville last month.......burrrrrr.

I guess it's time for a REAL heater in Big Olds cuz I can't rely on engine heat any longer.:D

GREAT PRODUCT! GREAT GUY! GREAT SERVICE!

Nope, flying in and out. I'm only taking that Thursday and Friday off which will leave MORE days for other events as well.

Will you be at the RoundUp as a vendor by chance??

I'll throw in my positive endor*****t for LoBuc's stuff too.:D
I got some insulation from him to do my Coupe. wonderful stuff:)

I actually bought more than I needed, but its better to have too much, than not enough.
but I got enough left over to do another project:cool:

Thanks Mike, hope you sell a bunch of it;)

Dang, I'm sure looking forward to seeing the New and Improved Big Olds.
Ive got it on my callender and have that Friday scheduled to be off so I'm sure gonna try to make it. Not sure about setting up as a vendor yet. I want to be free to wander around. Cant carry much in the coupe and Mullins trailer anyway. Since it will be my first round up I want to see all I can and maybe next time we will bring the truck and trailer and do the vendor thing.

Thanks for the reply, sort of looks like that plastic spongy stuff thats used for packaging.....That should work great for sound deading and with the foil backing the heat should be reduced pretty well also...

We have already reserved most of my vacation for swap meet in the DFW area and I'm saving a week so we can do whatever Kelly wants. If this keeps growing I'm gonna hang it up at work and we will be hitting events all over the country. Can make myself turn loose the benifits right now.

Actually the core is a polyethylene closed cell micro foam. It wont soak up moisture, oil etc... I dipped it in g*** and it has no effect on it. I took a torch to it and it burns as long as the torch is on it then goes out when the heat is removed.
