Hand stamping the Alliance tags...

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by BIGREDTODD, Jan 2, 2008.

  1. So I am reading through the thread about Ryan's '38 and I get to the cool video of the burnout, and you tube opens up...

I figure what the hell--I'll see a few other video's when I checked out the video of Ryan hand stamping (%#@*!) alliance tags. Granted, I hadn't really thought about how he stamped them...now I understand that it would obviously have to be done in a "traditional" :)rolleyes:) manner.

Then I started thinking about how many other jackballs such as myself have tags, and my head started to hurt...and decided it was time to heed the warning of my renewal reminder that greets me every time I open the H.A.M.B.

I think we all owe you thanks for feeding our addiction Ryan

Take it from someone that has used the exact same type of machine to stamp hundreds of tags, with several lines of info, it's not a quick and easy job to make 'em look good.

    Thanks Ryan...

I've seen him do it in person. Pretty impressive. He even has a mock up one that he starts with to make sure he gets the name centered...

I told him he could put Rashy on mine instead of CURIOUS RASH but he's a glutton for punishment.

This is the kind of thing I was talking about in one of my other posts. The thought he puts into this stuff.

He was super excited to find that machine.

I love my tag. He looks like one of my Marines when I make them do new sets of dog tags for the platoon.

I got mine done last year at the Cinematic show. He stamped it right there in front of me. I think that made it even cooler.

When I riveted mine to the firewall it seemed like the finishing touch on a car that will never be finished. It also doubled the value of my T.
