Dodge A100 Van guys

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Richard D, Jan 3, 2008.

  1. Any idea what these came from? And more importantly, where can I find black replacements for the hideous seat covers? Custom is not in the budget before The Roundup. Maybe fabric dye?

If you (or the wife) has a sewing machine you can make your own replacements pretty cheap. Just CAREFULY cut the old ones apart to use as a pattern.

  7. To make roundup on a budget...color in a can.
Just get them good and clean first.
Oh, and make sure any slovent you use to clean them is thoroughly dry/evaporated. Makes a heck of a mess otherwise.

  8. Not married. I know they aren't A100, but I want to know what they are so I can look for ready-made covers. Too much to do to make them and too much to buy to spend on custom covers.

  9. Now we are talking! I've never dyed upholstery, can you recommend a good brand?

  11. those are the exact seats (different color) that is in the 1976 dodge maxi-van I bought for the 440.

  12. I've used VHT's version of vinyl dye and I have heard good things about SEM's.

    Yep, 70's dodge B series vans - 71-77 -

Those are the low back version - a highback version with arm rests is also available in those years.

Those look to be the "Handsome Boca Raton Cloth" in brown

  14. Nothing handsome about that color...

Thanks guys, now I know what to look for.

  15. All right van experts, where can I find 71-77 van seat covers?

you might try legendary...or vato zone...:)

The closest thing they had was for a warlock pickup bucket seat and it doesn't look close enough. And it was 270 bucks.
