WOW! I can't thank Tom Henderson, (the guys who gave me the link to this forum) enough. I LOVE this stuff, especially the 'IN MOTION' photos! Man I miss those days, but it's so wonderful to see the old photos being posted here! I'm 63 years old and still love my 1/4 mile p***es...except it's so hard to get any p***es with the long lines and the cost is way out of sight these days jsut to run. Sure isn't like the old days. AND...What the hell is with those damn 'coffee can' foreign cars? Take a look at the couple of photos I had to add to the collection. Good to be here! Glenn
It's obviously the former, not the later as you can tell by the TONS of money I've sunk into it over those 41 years, and still do today! That's why it's tag says LOVE and it's called Love Is Blue! Glenn
No, i'm not that Mr. Blue, though I was just in Corpus Christi, TX on Sept. 15th, 2007 with my Love Is Blue to be part of the Guinness Book World Record (305 Vettes on the deck) that was set on the flight deck of the USS Lexington CV-16. I met some very nice folks from Texas that weekend. Thanks Rusty. Glad you like it. It's been a love for my entire life. Check out the cardomain site for it's entire histoy in photos when you get a chance. www.cardomain.com/ride/591305 Glenn
Sorry. That was supposed to be welcome from Maryland. Really enjoyed those old shots from Drag Times of you and the Vette at Budd's Creek and Aquasco. Glad you are still enjoying the car still to this day. Great stories there.
