Who here has built their own intakes? Anyone have any pics? Hell, I'd like to see 'em even if you didn't build it. Also, how does it run? I keep wanting to experiment on building one but can't decide to go log, tunnel ram, crossram, ect. Also, when I start seeing the math part on choosing runner size & length I get lost!

Thats rough! Defiitly scores points in the mad max department! Log type, short/no-existant runners. Neat though. That guy got alot farther than I have yet.

    Any more??

It works I fabbed it and my buddy welded it, now you can buy them off the shelf. I'm sure it isn't an original design but there were none available when I made it. Probably not the type you want but it is homemade!

Are those two Quadrajets on that Pontiac? I think I've stumbled upon a pic of your engine while searching the web for info on using Q-jets on a tunnel ram. What little info I've found seems to say 2xQ-jet works really well 'cause of the "on demand" air valve secondaries.

Cool pics guys! I love that blower setup.

Do the log types that you guys are running run good? I guess they must or you wouldn't have 'em!
Oh yeah, I've got a 324ci olds wich should be easy to fab an intake for if I could settle on a design.

You can see mine in my tag line.
Made it outside, in the backyard. Runs great!
Currently in the middle - almost done actually - of converting the Dellortos into throttle bodies and have the injectors mounted, wires, and plumbed with a Megasquirt kit. You'd have to look hard to find the sensors!
