Wide whites with Asto-Supremes?-or somethig else?

Looking for wheels and tires for my 57 chopped Buick'
Thinking of Astro-Supremes with wide whites,but open
to any good ideas. Any suggestions?

hmm... how about chrome OEM wheels with spider caps and skinny whites?
..or with wide whites?

I think it would look better with skinny whites on astro's

 

Supremes with Wide Whites came up in a recent thread and if I remember correctly most liked skinny whites with Supremes. I have 14X7 Supremes ordered for my Nomad and will be running skinny whites.

 

In 1966 I had 65 Chevy that I run them with black walls.

I'm running skinny whites on my Supremes. Not big on the WW/Supreme combo. How about double or triple skinny whites. I want doubles myself.

 

Wires and Vogues. You won't top taht.

 

I have set listed in the cl***ified that are 14x7 reversed with brand new Coker 5:20 for $550

My personal opinion i prefer skinny whites with Supremes...I think you should do 14x7 reverse Cragars and skinny whites myself....

I did run skinny whites on my Astros I think they look better than the wide whites

as a general rule I like skinny whites on astros... though the gold buick looks good with wides...

on a car like the 57 Olds I'd go with wide whites and full hubcaps...

Are those Genuine Vogues? I don't see the pattern in the white.

Nailed it, that's exactly what I'd do too. I dig supremes, but they don't do it for me on that car. Chrome reversed wheels with spiders and skinny white bias-plys would be awesome on that car. Any more pictures of the back the roof? I've been playing around with the idea of using that windshield in my 56 chevy. Awesome car.

IMO that is a good looking wheel but only on a muscle car. There are a few others that it looks good on but that Buick looks great with the Astros and wide whites.

 

Diamondback Cl***ics can make the skinny double whitewalls for you..... pretty much to your specifications. You can tell them how wide you want each white stripe and the spacing between them.
They are made-to-order.

They run about $150 apiece, give or take a few $.
