Has anyone ever used Equality Plating in La Mesa? They are close and I am thinking about using them to rechrome some bumpers for me.

I'd try pacific plating. They did my bumpers and grill on my effie. Awesome job. It was about $600 eleven years ago.

Dude, if you are willing to take a drive, we used to take all of our stuff across the border in Mexicali. Awesome work, for a fraction of the price. The name of the place we went was "Taller Jefe" and there is another one called "Chromsa" they can use alot of stuff that the EPA wont let the stateside shops use. Especially if you just have a few big things to chrome, it might be worth the drive. I shipped a bunch of stuff down to a partner of mine that still lives in the Imperial Valley to take across for my wagon.. I'll let you know how it turns out. We used to take all of our chrome and aluminum (for polishing) back when I was into building bikes and still living in SoCal, and never had a problem.. most times the final product was better than I could have got in the States, and for FAR less expensive.
