I used to race at Tri_City Speedway in Auburn??

 

Tri-City dragway was next to MBS airport, closed in 1978 the strip and tower are still there. Tri-City speedway is closed and is still pretty much intact, but was stopped in the middle of bein converted to dirt, it is sad that both are currently rotting away.

 

Damn: That was a fun track. Ran the 1/4 mile oval one night and the lights went out in turn one. They backed up some trucks and turned the lights on! One crazy race.LOL Oh and the 1/2 mile was one groove with broken beer bottles down low and grass and weeds in the high groove.
