hey everybody! this is my first thread and im kind of intimidated but what the hell! i have a 51 chevy 2 dr sedan and i want to 4 link it. i have a 57 chevy rear end, and it's going to bagged on all corners. i know i will probably end up having to c-notch it because i really want to lay the frame. but right now im just trying to figure out who sells the best kit . thanx a lot!
you can also try suicidedoors.com. they sell everything from individual pieces to complete 4 links in any length you desire. high quality stuff from what i've seen and been told. all TIG welded stuff too!
Suicidedoors.com stuff is WAY overbuilt and weel worth the money. I've got a 4 link kit in my garage right now. Beefy stuff. Also, look around for the bolt-on kit for the tri-5's.
i got a suicide doors.com 4 link also it is way beefy stuff. i was thinking of running a shockwave bag set up for my 51 ford, it combines the bag and the shock so as to save some space
I bought mine from Art Morrison. Stainless, beefy, nylon bushed, and probably the nicest looking welds I've ever seen! Not sure they sell a bag kit, but man were the links nice.
Welcome to the HAMB. If you are a car newbie I'd recommend the Walton Fabrication 4-link. The bracketry is mostly bolt on to the existing leaf spring mounts. It is made for coilovers or airbags. You would have to weld the brackets to your axle housing. Their website is way behind on updates but they make really good stuff. They are quoting $899 for their kit when I called.
all you guys are awesome! im gonna check all the options and im super stoked on all the help! thanx again
