I'm contemplating white wall cheaters on my '54 and would love to see some pics if anyone is running them. Thanks!

Well, I guess that means mine will be unique!

Here's a cool one. I think these pics were taken at Paso 2004.

That blue one is nice.... That's what I'm looking for, a non-gasser running white wall slicks. Very cool.....

Watch for clearance issues. Inner fenderwall does not allow for much width, unless you have changed things such as the rearend.

Right about the clearance issues. The blue one is my buddy's car, no issues cause it's a reworked former pro-streeter, plenty of room for these slicks after the Micky's came out.

  10. THAT is funny! I had no idea that car was an 80s refugee that was rebuilt!?

  11. My 54 has a 70 Nova rear, I ran Hurst slicks 7.5x30 and only had clearance issues when the rear seat had 3 adults. I did have to redo my pipes, they exit behind the tires and were touching the bigger tires when I put them on, really made a smell!

Oh yeah, it's in it's 3rd round. It started as a SBC swapped stocker, then pro-streeted big block, then as it is now. Belongs to Aaron of US Kustoms, it was his first car but didn't fit his shop's style so the rebuild. Still running the big block thou so it'll still workout the slicks!
