Yeah I've driven the car. It had a crate 302 and c6 when I bought it from my sister. The car was torn down while I was building my other rod and I got rid of all that stuff. So now I have a huge engine and a bigger car. ow doesn't the stripe look good? I turned the bottom section down at the end and I think I will change that.

do yourself a favor....Decide then build..hahahaha more projects get turned or junked because that isn't done...Welcome and best of luck with it...If I had to choose...buy another, build one of each...haha, ...actually, I'd build a mild custom(slammed, no skirts, mild dechroming) and put some power under the hood....like FE with 6 2's, a stick and a locker equipped 9 inch...but thats me..haha

That car could be bitchin either way. Its a good year with nice clean lines and shape. If you do go gasser you had better make sure its fast though, sleds don't put as much pressure on you they just have to look cool. A gasser better live up to its looks! And have a 4spd! just my opinion of course! Good luck with it!

I totally agree with your opinion on the Gasser thing 3x2 Rocket.Mine wont break the sound barrier but it will lay some rubber and i race on and off the street with it (somebody has to keep this punks with rice burners in line). As far as the 4spd. goes ,i also agree a real Gasser should have one .I have seen several Gassers that are otherwise bad to the bone ,other than have some shitbag auto trans in it ,with a fake 4spd nob on it.I even saw one a 57 Gasser with an auto in the floor with a 4spd. nob on it and a dummy clutch pedal in it, what a joke...

Either way it should look nice.Me personally I'm leaning more to the sled. But with a warmed over block if possible. :)
