Okay, I am pumped!! Went to my buddies paint shop, "Vintage Custom" today to see the progress on my 63 Bird and I think it looks AWESOME! Went there last week when they had the top shot and the pics I took turned out crappy! The paint is House of Colors Tangerine over gold and red base with panels on the roof and sides of the car. The hood, deck, and tops of the doors, fenders and quarters are Black with candy scallops on the hood and deck. When I shot these pics they had just cleared the sides. See what you think and I includes a shot of the car before I took it to them. It is supposed to be done by first of next week and I will put the Fentons on it and post some more then. The sun came through a window im the shop and hit a 1 foot square area of the door and it looked amazing. It still will be color sanded and buffed as well.

Instead of lace, inside all the scallops it has sculls done like lace in Candy Burgundy, Just couldn't do lace:D:D

That is cooler than the other side of the pillow my friend. The skulls look bitch'in great idea. Is the pattern some sort of lace or fabric or did you airbrush them.

Yes it is a stencil and airbrushed on with Candy Burgundy. Thanks for all the positive feedback on the paint.

That's a sweet color combo. See if you can get some detail shots of the skulls.

I should get it back Tuesday or Wednesday and I will get the wheels on it and post some more pics. I also lowered it about 3" front and rear just before it went to the paint shop.

The roof is the same layout, I'm not sure about the black part, I can always redo that if it looks like crap:eek:

Like the overall design....nicly balanced...period correct...But Skulls??? Lace more appropriate...it's easy ! This Skull thing I have must be personal...tired of the overuse of the theme... especially a mass produced stencil ,thousands use. Biker- not 60's Custom.

Just couldn't do the lace! The skulls are not real noticeable more to give the Candy some depth and are only on the scallops. All lace is is a crude stencil anyway. But thanks for the observations.
