A few. The lace texture is not as tall as it looks in the photos.

  5. While a 60 Starliner itself is a beautiful car that thing just can,t be described to the full extent that it deserves. Amazing paint and panel work! Outside in the sun will truly make blind men weep.....

I just got off the phone with Alex. It looks like the side panels will be blue base with fades like the lace ones, but instead of lace they will have cobwebbing. Then just for a little more spice that little panel on the bottom of the rear 1/4 will get a step-faded repeating arc pattern that will continue under the side spear until it fades out.

I hope you make the GNRS. I would love to see this in person, especially after you keep saying that the pics dont do it justice.

    from Colorado?

    Two questions:

-Did you build another garage, in the backyard or something?

-Does Alex charge extra, what with you hanging out "helping" all the time?

    Kirk it looks amazing.

I have to make the trek down to GNRS to see it, I hadn't really planned on going but this and the other cars being built for that show are goign to make it worth it!

Alex you are the kustom king, the work put into that car is awesome. You guys make it looks easy!

  14. Soooo, are you making a show card that says "Hippie pants"?

Man... I love this build. This car is stellar in my opinion. I want it (or one like it) in my garage!

  17. now that's a funny mental image....lol especially the fabric stores in Kansas where my folks live...that's the number one Amish hang out! lol Not to imply that you guys are radical or anything...you just don't look like squares that's all lol

Well, the Starliner is officially not going to make it to GNRS. Bummer. It's just turning out too nice to rush the final stages. It will be at Sacramento Autorama instead. Then every show I can get to this summer.

We are going to keep the pace up.

New updates to come next week.

Damn man ! Nice build ! Definitely looks like a lot time masking and a lot of work went into it, but well worth the time and effort by the looks of the pics !

The darker blue kicking-back the lace looks much better. Very nice.

That paint rocks!!! I love the blue fades. Just did a tank for a friend of mine for his bike. Sorta similair, wanna paint my shoebox in that same style.
